Another National Failure
Not only can the England team not play football - that's no surprise - now we learn that our NHS ('the envy of the world') can't even manage the one thing we thought it was seriously good at - spending vast sums of money. This country...

England were rubbish - Burton Albion would have done better - apart from the stamina issue - on that pitch. That bloke got £4 million to not get England through... I reckon I could have done that for £1 million...I am not greedy.
ReplyDeleteThe NHS's surplus has been achieved at some cost, however, as i can attest as a labourer in its bowels. One department here nearly had to shut down because the temps were all fired, and since the permanent staff were either on long-term sick leave or holiday, the temps were running everything. When i pointed out that we couldn't run this particular department without some admin staff, i was told there wasn't any money.
