He's Not Human

This story confirms what I have long maintained - that Gordon Brown is not actually a human life form. Something bovine, it would seem... (But read to the end of the story and weep.)
I fear Alison Jackson will just have to mould something out of congealed porridge...

  1. that's interesting because I've always thought George Clooney moved around the set of ER like a cow after a daisy. mind you, I think Daniel Craig looks like his face caught fire and they put it out with a spade, so I'm obviously no judge of hot looks.... so, New woman - is that like the antidote to new man?

  2. Nige, its that final sentence isn't it? About the vicarious vanity of Sarah. They are not in politics to ease our lives, but to become celebs. Couldn't the artiste just make a flaccid, jowly mask and hang it on some glass-eyed bloke's face?

  3. That's the killer indeed, Captain - vicarious vanity and, it seems, vicarious insanity - Brown clearly lost all touch with reality years ago, you'd expect that, but you'd have thought his wife might have clung to some remnant of sanity... As for the New Woman poll, I suspect they might as well have called it 100 Men We've Heard Of. By the way, as you're there Captain, why is nobody mentioning terrorism in connection with the Heathrow business yesterday? A Heathrow 'spectacular' is the jihadists' dream isn't it? And Brown was there too... What if they'd got some spiffy remote device to knock out planes in the air? I only ask...

  4. A sore point that crash Nige since the upper decks at Nigecorp cleared six pages to cover it, and cleared a rather nifty Captain piece on the cyber-jihadist Irhabi007 out too to make space for 'our hero the pilot'. On top of the previous week where a local power cut hit us just as I was about to press 'send' with another NigeCorps piece. No, I don't think terrorism was involved. Bank robbers should equip themselves with Bruin masks- I'd hand over my silver just at the merest twitch of those jowls.

  6. "the upper decks at Nigecorp cleared six pages to cover it, and cleared a rather nifty Captain piece"

does this mean Nige works for a print newspaper and Captain B is a writer for said paper?

  7. That's what it looks like, Elberry. I think they should just come clean now. No more dodging, sidestepping or jiggery-pokery. Spill the beans, Nige.

  8. Apparently lots of Russians have offered their services, and indeed, Brown has been look-a-liked to Andrei Gromyko.

Only difference - Gromyko looks far sparkier than Gordo, despite having been dead for some decades...

  9. "While Ms Jackson might find his features unusual - New Woman Magazine last year voted Mr Brown among the world's 100 sexiest men, alongside the likes of Bond star Daniel Craig and fellow actor Johnny Depp."

This has got to be some kind of sick joke.

  10. How about this one ... the merciless lips, the cold, angry eyes, the dark, careworn jowls ...

  11. I give Brown credit for not turning that crash into a photo op. I can think of more than one US President who would have been off their plane and over there in no time.

  12. The actor who should have played Gordon Brown is the late John Laurie "We're all doomed"

  13. No, I'm not certainly not human. What's it to you, you prick?

  14. Now that it is quite apparent what Edwina needs, who's going to give it to her?

    (Not I, said the ronin.)

The addition of a here to your comments policy within the comments area has no impact. Spelling out your comments policy with a lot of confrontational language within the comment form area can.
