A blog about, among other things, imaginary ideas - What ifs? and Imagine thats. What if photographs looked nothing like what we see with our eyes? Imagine that the Berlin Wall had never come down. What if we were the punchline of an interminable joke? All contributions welcome.
I read The Reader some years ago. It is definitely now filed under "good books" in my brain. But do you know, I can't remember a damn thing about it. (Or couldn't, til your article reminded me.)
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I can remember Chuck Palahniuk's 'Choke' in great detail, and I really hated that book.
Such is life.
