Jamie's Mag

I am - who wouldn't be? - intrigued by the new Jamie magazine, not least because it has one of the worst cover lines ever - '48 Hours in Stockholm'. Gosh, there's a must read if ever there was one.

  1. There are far worse things in life than 48 hours in Stockholm, 48 hours in Boras for instance, been my misfortune far too frequently. The sum total of Sweden, pine trees and Hasselblad. Poor old Jamie, rotten advice possibly.

  2. like 90 minutes of Wallander...?

okay, t-shirts under shirts - do they both hang out, or is the t-shirt tucked in? I need a Jamie lifestyle magazine.

  3. He's gone global. I had no idea how famous he was until I was in Frankfurt a few weeks ago and saw posters bearing his grinning mug advertising his live 'cooking show'. Don't Germans have TV chefs of their own? And then a mere two weeks later I was in the States and saw an ad for an appearance he was making on Letterman. Now Americans definitely have TV chefs of their own, plus Ramsay. Meanwhile they say that in some photos, if you squint hard enough, you can make out his featues on the surface of Mars.

I like the sound of that Dexter Fletcher interview though.
