Nailing Mandy

The great Danny confirms this Sunday Times story and nails Mandy for playing fast and loose with the old actuality. Perhaps my first intuition was right and he is Brown's Palin after all.

  1. Palin may be dead and damned, and her appointment might have been what Andrew Sullivan called it “...a farce...absurd...an insult to all intelligent people... a sign of a candidate who has lost his mind. “

But if you can get over your initial revulsion of her being condescending, and dumb, you might find her a charming and even likeable Dame compared to Brown's Mephistopheles:

  2. We may have to get a grip on this Palin thang or we'll all go mad. Just about everyone seems to be Sarah Palin these days. There's even a story in the papers that Brown is thinking of recalling David Blunkett. Maybe Brown is Mandy's Palin, with Blunkett playing the moose. Who is Sarah Palin's Palin, that's what I want to know.

  3. Peter is the light at the end of the tunnel, proof, if proof were needed, that the UK is worlds best country for self advancement. If a boil on the arse of an orang utang can make it into the cabinet as the minister for business then there's hope for all of us.
