I'm going to get this woman out of the library because you were right about J.A. Baker. But the synopses look terrible.

ReplyDeleteIan: "Housekeeping" is one of the best novels I've ever read. I refuse to say much about the others for fear of annoying the Number One Fan of M.R. who happens to be the proprietor of this blog!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am confused...I thought the Orange Prize only went to women writers from England, Australia, Canada, etc. -- didn't know American writers were ever in the running.
