My Life is Good Because I Am Not Passive About It
Thank God for Gwyneth in these trying times. I've signed up for the newsletter.

A blog about, among other things, imaginary ideas - What ifs? and Imagine thats. What if photographs looked nothing like what we see with our eyes? Imagine that the Berlin Wall had never come down. What if we were the punchline of an interminable joke? All contributions welcome.
Count me in. I too want to nourish what is real.
ReplyDeleteAnd not to be passive about it, remember that bit, Brit
ReplyDeleteThat site looks as if it is intended for a very special kind of mum. So don't be shy, give us the real news de nos jours - you're pregnant, aren't you.
ReplyDeleteGloop.
ReplyDeleteYes, Mark, the truth is out.
ReplyDeleteDamn, no wonder I'm miserable. For over half a century I've been passively nourishing the real one day and then actively nourishing the unreal the next. Can I start over?
ReplyDeleteDisturbing. i really liked her up until this. Make go do be get. Jeez. Reminds me of an American mantra:
ReplyDeleteBe, Do, Be, Do, Be, Do, Be, Doobydoobydo...sing along!
Still love her face though. Three most beautiful young actresses, in my humble opinion, are Gwyneth, Uma Thurman, and Juliette Binoche. And J.B. isn't even that young anymore. All of them have that kind of Catherine Deneuve serenity in their looks. If only they could keep their mouths shut, the illusion of wisdom would be theirs.
Serenity is right in Gwyneth's case, Susan, though sadly it now seems to be the bliss of ignorance
ReplyDeleteGloop: Any thick, viscous matter.
ReplyDeleteThe consistency of pig shit, perhaps?
Reality is self-parodying. Did anyone else notice that every one of the action links goes to the same page? If I'm going to get hooked on the minutiae of Gwyneth's fabulous life, I will need fresh copy, and lots of it!
