Taxonomy - the New Black?

Mark's mention of the happy rediscovery of David Attenborough's Zaglossus Attenboroughi (see Comments under Atheism Pays) puts me in mind of another great man who gave his name to a species.   1. This is simply a blatant, cynical ploy to avoid scoring a zero. Taxonomy would appear not to be the new black then - a sign of the times if ever there was one...

  2. Not a great one, though, Nige. What if the species became extinct? Where would you be then? Quickly forgotten, I'd say.
