Charles Kennedy Has Suffered Enough
One must have a heart of stone not to shed a tear for the dear old Baked Bean. Charles Kennedy has endured one appalling misfortune after another. First, he became leader of the Liberal Democratic 'Party' and then he had to abandon the post amid accusations that he drank too much. What else is there to do if you are Libdem leader? Now some heartless policeman has 'spoken to' him after he was discovered smoking on a train. This is one humiliation too far. Has not this man suffered enough? Let him smoke, let him drink and, if he misses the job, let him lead the Libdems again. This Bing feller doesn't seem to be making much of a fist of it.

there's something seriously wrong with a country where a politican is chastised for drinking too much and smoking on trains. These are signs of some kind of humanity. Cyborgs like Blair do not drink or smoke.
