Alarming News of American Fluid Intake

I am increasingly concerned about American drinking habits - meet the Hugo and the caffeine crutch. They should come over here and consume some of our liquid excess. Incidentally, the caffeine freaks say 'sleep is a crutch'. Well, of course, it is; we all have appalling limps.

  1. I am also prone to wanting large quantities of fluids during the summer months. I have discovered this really amazing drink that is even cheaper than the 89 cents McD's is charging for the Hugo. It is called "water" and is available at low cost without ever having to go out of the house! I will admit that several times a day I do run this "water" through a machine that holds ground up beans. It's still low-calorie but I always feel much more alert after drinking it.

  2. American fluid intake? Wasn't it you lot that drained the last keg in Germany just a while back?

  3. It was Joe, and if the environment agency had been able to give our flood water a smell of best bitter, they would have drained that lot as well.

  4. An interesting discovery, Tom. We just bale the stuff out of our houses, we didn't know you could drink it. And, johnth, it has the colour of bitter.

  5. Hope you realize that your flooding problems have barely been mentioned in the US press. It's not that we don't care... it's that ... ummm.. we don't care, I guess. :-(
