A blog about, among other things, imaginary ideas - What ifs? and Imagine thats. What if photographs looked nothing like what we see with our eyes? Imagine that the Berlin Wall had never come down. What if we were the punchline of an interminable joke? All contributions welcome.

ReplyDeleteIt IS Cromer. Good guess. johntyh. And what's with the blogging hiatus, Brit?
ReplyDeleteBryan discovers there's a down side to life as a carny.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make it clear that Sunday's incident is regretted, and unlikely to be repeated. As usual, I used the 1482 recipe, the only side-effects of which are normally a slight swelling of the tongue, mild sweating and a sort of picturesque foaming at the mouth. However, due to the unusually wet Summer, I was unable to get hold of sufficient extract from scrotum of goat and had to substitute with a liquid take from compressed sheep droppings. It should have been perfectly OK, if a little less 'punchy' than usual.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, visitors to the Cromer Fair should relax, enjoy and view Sunday's events as nothing more than a little unfortunate. My stall can be found towards the far left of picture.

ReplyDeleteBryan: re blogging hiatus - I suppose I needed a break, perhaps in the blogging equivalent of Cromer.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling, Brit, my break is called Nige.
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a Nige.

Well, as I always say, Brit, a picture is worth a thousand words.
