Caption Contest Boredom Solution

Bored - time for a caption contest. For townies, the above object is a blackbird.

  4. Hmmn, sign language. I wonder if this is a bookies' seal offering odds on the fishing. So:

    Mackerel, 5-1 on.

A wonderful photo, though. If in Italy, I think this seal could stand in for one of their magnificent traffic policemen, so (thanks to Google):

Tutti i granchi sulla spiaggia, filtro alla destra!

  11. Interesting, Brit, are you referring to that Punch cartoon with two hippos, one saying, 'It's funny I keep thinking it's Thursday?' A gem that.

You guys are funny -- I applaud the quick-witted caption makers. I honestly can't think of anything to say except that the seal has a face like Oliver Hardy (Laurel & Hardy) and the observation alone isn't amusing.

My favorites: Elberry, Johntyh, Mark (sign language) and Nige. Keep it up you witty fellows. 'Tis why I love the British: You really do have the best sense of humor in the Western World -- biting, apposite.
