Bad And Mad
Here, on the other hand, is bad news. Isn't there something uniquely depressing about this one? Not just the typically sensitive and caring Russian action, but the prospect of some kind of mad colonial scramble over what should be a true wilderness. Good to see that Denmark's staking a claim though - never underestimate the Danes...

Is that all you have to do, in this day and age, to stake a claim - literally stake a claim! stone me, whatever happened to red tape?
ReplyDeleteThere's no need to worry, Russia is party to the 'United Nations Convention on the Laws of the Sea'. If there's a United Nations Treaty, then nothing bad can happen, right?

ReplyDeleteBryan and Nige seem to have developed a great regard for the Danes and Scandinavians in general. It all seems to have happened since Sven took over at City. It'll all end in tears.
