  16. Bryan, I really thought it was A A Gill out for a fag break on a Sunday Times bonding weekend. Perhaps you should add a footnote to each photo with the words used at the beginning of those old films 'Any resemblance to characters living or dead is purely coincidental'

    Anyway, all this confusion over images, is it any wonder? We have that one top right, another on the Clive James link, the shot with Grabber at the fete, the one staring into camera (my cat still refuses to go out), walking with giraffes, scoffing cakes at the seaside, and the re-enactment yesterday of 'When Philby met Maclean'. Where is truth?
